Sujay Reddy’s journey into yoga began not in a studio, but in a search for something deeper.

Born in Bangalore, India, Sujay was a professional tennis player in his early years. While physically strong, he recognised early on that mental strength was lacking — which led him to meditation in his teens.

After stepping away from professional sport due to injury, he spent several years exploring business and life in ways that, by his own admission, lacked alignment and meaning. It was through returning to yoga — particularly pranayama and meditation — that his life began to shift in a fundamental way.

He completed his initial teacher training in Bali in 2018 and continued to deepen his studies through advanced trainings, long-term practice, and immersion in traditional teachings.

Over the years, Sujay has:

  • Taught at 11 yoga teacher trainings (200HR, 300HR & meditation YTTs)

  • Delivered thousands of hours of classes, workshops, and mentorship

  • Led modules in pranayama, meditation, nervous system regulation, and philosophy

  • Designed and structured training programs for teacher trainings

His teaching is influenced by lineages connected to Swami Rama, with philosophical grounding in Sri Vidya Tantra, Kashmir Shaivism, Sadhguru's Isha Yoga and classical Hatha Yoga, along with continued dedication to study and practice.

He has also undertaken advanced study and training at The Practice Bali, further refining his approach to traditional Hatha Yoga and internal practices.

Sujay’s approach is clear:

Much of modern yoga overemphasises movement while underemphasising the deeper limbs of practice.

His work brings the focus back to:

  • Breath as the bridge between body, mind & soul

  • Meditation as the core of the practice

  • Philosophy as the foundation for understanding

Classes are structured to support both physical strength and internal awareness, using asana as a tool to prepare the system for deeper practices.

Expect: Traditional Hatha Yoga

  • Intelligent and purposeful asana, mudra, bandha

  • Structured pranayama

  • Lineage sanctioned meditation practices

  • Clear, grounded explanations of yogic philosophies fom Kashmir Shaivism & Sri Vidya

Beyond Yoga : Alongside his work in yoga, Sujay has also experienced success in the material world through entrepreneurship and design.

His work has been featured in leading publications including
Vogue India and
Architectural Digest India.

This dual experience allows him to bridge the gap between external success and inner work — something many practitioners are quietly

Philanthropy : Sujay’s journey has also been rooted in service.

  • From 2018–2023, much of his teaching was offered freely or with proceeds donated

  • In 2024, a significant portion of his teaching income was donated to Yayasan Widya Guna in Ubud

  • He continues to support efforts to build a physiotherapy and hydrotherapy centre for children with disabilities

Service remains an integral part of his work and teachings.
