Pranayama is far more than breathing techniques—it is a precise and powerful method for working with prana, the vital life force that underlies both body and mind.
In this immersive workshop, we bridge traditional yogic wisdom with modern science to give you a deeper, experiential understanding of breath as a tool for transformation.
We begin by exploring the true meaning of pranayama, its origins, and the role of prana within classical yoga. From there, we examine the physiology of breathing—understanding the role of carbon dioxide, breath ratios, and the influence of the vagus nerve on your mental and emotional state.
You will be guided step-by-step through foundational and energizing techniques such as Kapalabhati and Bhastrika, learning not just how to practice them, but when and why.
To prepare the body for deeper breathwork, we’ll move through a focused asana practice designed specifically to support pranayama. You’ll then learn Viloma (segmental breathing), developing awareness and control over the breath through structured pauses.
We’ll also explore the subtle body through the lens of the nadis—Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna—and understand how breath influences the nervous system and brain hemispheres. This comes to life through practices like Chandra Bhedana and Surya Bhedana, helping you consciously regulate energy—whether calming or activating.
The session concludes with a full yogic breath practice and meditation, allowing you to integrate the experience on a deeper level.
This workshop is ideal for anyone looking to:
· Deepen their understanding of breath beyond basic techniques
· Learn how to regulate energy, stress, and focus
· Build a strong foundation in traditional pranayama
· Experience the connection between ancient yogic science and modern physiology
Expect a balance of theory, practice, and direct experience—leaving you with tools you can immediately integrate into your daily life and teaching.

Meditation is more than sitting still—it is a systematic process of refining attention, regulating energy, and accessing deeper layers of awareness.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to properly prepare for meditation through posture, breath, and technique, and be guided through powerful practices drawn from yogic and tantric traditions. Expect a balance of theory and direct experience, leaving you with practical tools to build focus, clarity, and intuitive insight.
Meditation is the portal to the truth.

Meditation is often misunderstood as simply “clearing the mind” or relaxing. In the yogic tradition, however, it is a precise and structured path—one that develops deep focus (dharana), sustained awareness (dhyana), and ultimately access to intuitive insight.
This workshop is designed to take you beyond surface-level techniques and into a more complete understanding of how meditation actually works.
We begin with a guided meditation, allowing you to directly observe the nature of your own mind—its patterns, distractions, and tendencies. From there, we explore the most common challenges practitioners face, and what meditation is truly developing beneath the surface.
You’ll learn how to properly prepare for meditation—an often overlooked but essential step. This includes establishing a stable and comfortable seat, using specific physical preparation, and applying pranayama techniques that regulate the nervous system and make meditation more accessible.
From this foundation, you will be introduced to three distinct meditation practices:
· Prana Dharana – developing concentration through awareness of breath and subtle energy
· 3rd Eye Kriya – refining attention and directing awareness inward
· Apana Vayu Kriya – grounding the system and stabilizing the mind
Along the way, we explore both modern and traditional definitions of meditation, including insights from yogic and tantric perspectives—clarifying what meditation is, and what it is not.
A key component of the workshop is learning how to work intelligently with your own system. You’ll understand how to choose the right preparatory practices based on your mental and energetic state—whether you feel restless, dull, or emotionally unsettled.
The session concludes with an integrated meditation experience and time for questions, ensuring you leave with clarity and confidence in your practice.
This workshop is ideal for those who:
· Struggle with consistency or distraction in meditation
· Want a clearer, more structured approach
· Are curious about traditional yogic methods beyond mindfulness
· Seek to develop focus, awareness, and intuitive clarity
You will leave not just with techniques, but with an understanding of how to approach meditation as a progressive and transformative practice.

This workshop explores the roots of yoga through its history and philosophy, from the Vedic traditions to Tantra and Hatha Yoga. Understand what yoga was designed to do, why these practices exist, and how they apply to modern life. Through discussion, reflection, breathwork and meditation, you’ll leave with a clearer map of your practice.
Modern yoga keeps genuine seekers stuck in the physical understanding of reality, while the treasures of yoga are hidden only for those who look within
Philosophy is the framework for life.

Yoga today is often reduced to movement — but traditionally, it was a complete system for understanding the mind and transforming one’s experience of life.
In this workshop, we explore yoga beyond postures by looking at both its historical roots and philosophical foundations, and how these shape the practices we engage in today.
We begin by examining the fundamental problem yoga is designed to address — human suffering, restlessness, and misidentification with the body and mind — and introduce key concepts such as karma, liberation, and the purpose of practice.
From there, we trace the evolution of yoga, from early Vedic traditions and the Upanishads, through the rise of renunciate practices, to the emergence of Tantra and Hatha Yoga. Understanding this progression reveals why yoga includes such a wide range of techniques — from posture and breathwork to meditation and subtle practices.
We then explore two of the most influential philosophical frameworks:
Samkhya, which views liberation as a process of disentangling from nature, and Tantra, which sees life itself as the path.
The workshop also includes guided pranayama and meditation, allowing you to experience how these teachings translate into practice.
This is not a purely intellectual session, but an opportunity to connect philosophy with direct experience, and to gain a clearer sense of direction in your own practice.
You will leave with:
• A clearer understanding of the purpose of yoga
• Insight into its historical development
• A practical framework to guide your practice
• Simple tools to integrate breath and meditation more meaningfully
